The Iron County Treasurer is the elected official responsible for the safe and prudent investment of County monies. Duties include receipting, balancing, reconciling, distributing and ensuring that all monies are correctly accounted for in separate funds as required by Missouri law.
Iron County has thirty plus separate funds to maintain.
I work with all the fellow officeholders as they receive money in their individual office and then turn it over to the County Treasurer’s office for proper disbursement.
