Until the Election of 2008, the Recorder and Circuit Clerk were as combined office. The Iron County Recorders office, located in Ironton, Missouri in the beautiful historical courthouse. The courthouse was put into action in October, 1860.
The job of the Recorder is to record, index, and store the land, military records, surveys, plats, and tax liens. The Recorder also issues the marriage license. The happy couple will need proper identification and when their last marriage ended, if applicable.

$24.00 for first page
$3.00 for each additional page
If document does not meet the Missouri statutes then there is an additional fee of $25.00

We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours. We are closed 12:00PM to 1:00PM for lunch.
